Homicide Squad detectives have charged a woman in relation to the death of a child in Madora Bay on Wednesday 27 April 2022.
About 4:50am Police were called to a residence on Balclutha Crescent in relation to a noise complaint.
Upon arrival at the residence the attending officers identified a 14-month-old boy who was unresponsive.
The attending officers provided emergency first aid to the child until St John Ambulance personnel arrived. Tragically, the child could not be revived.
A 28-year-old woman from Madora Bay, who is related to the child, has been charged with Murder. She has been refused bail and is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court tomorrow, Saturday 30 April 2022.
