Rockingham detectives have charged three men following a vehicle stop in Anketell where a search of a stolen jeep uncovered items taken from an industrial yard.
Police stopped a vehicle just after 1:30 this morning near the Kwinana Freeway on-ramp on Anketell Road.
Inquiries ascertained the Jeep Cherokee was stolen during a burglary on July 31, from an address in Leederville.
The vehicle had false plates.
It is alleged that during a search of the vehicle, officers located several items that were stolen from an industrial yard on Pearse Road in Wattleup.
Police attended the location and it is further alleged the perimeter fence had been forced open and a sea container was unlocked.
The three men were arrested and charged.
A 21-year-old man from Thornlie and a 27-year-old man from Parmelia have been charged with aggravated burglary, steal motor vehicle and possess prohibited weapon.
Both will appear in Fremantle Magistrates Court on September 18.
A 23 year-old-man from Munster fronts court today charged with aggravated burglary, steal motor vehicle and stealing.
