The annual Christmas on the Murray event returns on December 5.
The popular, free community event offers hours of family fun and entertainment and runs from 5pm to 8pm at the Murray River Foreshore.
Shire President David Bolt said the Christmas on the Murray is the perfect way to get into the spirit of Christmas and celebrate with our wonderful community.
“There will be live Christmas carols performed throughout the evening by Mandurah Concert Band, Austin Cove Baptist College student band, local performers and new to the line-up this year is the Butterscotch Quartet,” Mr Bolt said.
“There will also be free kids activities including, Christmas crafts, and face painting. So, bring a picnic rug and chairs and pop down for a lovely evening along our beautiful Murray River."

There will be various food trucks, ice-cream and coffee, and the Lions Club of Pinjarra will be holding a sausage sizzle.
There are also local food businesses along Pinjarra’s main street open for trade.
