Mandurah’s young and the young at heart are encouraged to head to the Eastern Foreshore on October 29 for a day of fun at the ever-popular Mandurah Children’s Festival.
Now in its 15th year, festival highlights include a dress up competition, creative workshops, rides, colourful market stalls and non-stop entertainment on the main stage.
The family friendly community event celebrates all that’s great about being a kid in Mandurah.
Come dressed in your best ‘discovery’ costume to take part in the popular dress up competition.
The parade and judging will take place at 10.45am on the main stage, with winners announced at 11.45.
There are some wonderful prizes up for grabs.
The free entertainment and activities include a Discovery Dig, Solar Telescope, bouncy castles,
SciTech and Peel Zoo displays, performances, workshops, interactive stories and Captain Cleanup.
Members of the Mandurah Men’s Shed have put the finishing touches on the special doll’s house that will be won by one lucky person at this year’s event – simply enter the draw at the Mandurah Men’s Shed stall at the event for your chance to win.
Local children and their families are encouraged to head along to the City’s annual alcohol-free and smoke-free event and enjoy all the activities on offer from 10am to 3pm.
