Prince William and Kate Middleton have welcomed their third child into the world; a baby boy.
Kate delivered the little boy in London's St. Mary's Hospital on Monday morning (April 23) local time.
The office statement from Kensington Palace reads:
Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a son at 1101hrs.

The baby weighs 8lbs 7oz.
The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth.

The yet-to-be-named Prince becomes the fifth royal in line for the throne behind his grandfather Prince Charles, father Prince William, brother Prince George and sister Princess Charlotte.
Tipsters are placing their bets on what the new Prince will be called with Albert, James, Arthur, Fredrick and Philip leading the pack.
