A 20-year-old Falcon man who was filmed kicking a quokka into a wall on Rottnest Island has pleaded guilty to an animal cruelty charge.
Harrison Angus McPherson appeared in the Fremantle Magistrates Court on Friday and admitted to the attack on February 11.
McPherson was filmed by his friend Corey Douglas James kicking the quokka into a courtyard wall before it was posted on social media and viewed thousands of times.
James, who laughed as he videoed the attack, was fined $3500 in March.
McPherson will reappear in court on June 20 for sentencing.
