Christmas has come early for three Western Australians who shared in the Division One Saturday Lotto prize pool over the weekend, each claiming more than half a million dollars.
The Division One tickets were sold from Miami Newsagency in Falcon, The Lucky Charm Newsagency in Willetton and Phoenix Newsagency in Spearwood and are now worth $587,281 each.
Phoenix Newsagency owner Tony Garces said he was delighted to have sold a winning ticket so close to Christmas.
“We are yet to have the winner come forward, but I do hope it is one of our loyal customers,” he said.
“This will be a great surprise for the lucky winner, being so close to Christmas.
“I haven’t sold a winning ticket since 2008, so it would be wonderful to celebrate with the lucky winners.”
WA’s triple win comes just days after 55 women from Perth’s northern suburbs shared in the entire $80 million Powerball jackpot – the biggest win in State history and third largest nationally.
