A man has died after his vehicle left the road and crashed into a ditch in Ravenswood.
The man was travelling on Paterson Road when he lost control of the vehicle near Old Mandurah Road just before 1pm on Tuesday.
Seven News reports a passerby spotted the man’s car and called for help.
Sadly the man could not be revived and he died at the scene.
At this stage, it’s believed the man aged in his 60's suffered a medical episode before his car left the road.
Paterson Road was closed in both directions for several hours as police investigate.
