Firefighters are at the scene of two house fires this morning.
Authorities said the blaze at a vacant home in Dugong View broke out just before six this morning.
Twelve firefighters are at the scene battling the fire which broke out on the roof of the home. It's now been brought under control after an hour of actively fighting the flames.
Police are also on the scene.
Department of Fire and Emergency Services have issued a general hazmat warning with smoke clouding the area of Yangebup near the scene of the fire.
Meantime one man is uninjured following a blaze at a Byford home.
The fire started in the bedroom of the property around 7am, but crews worked quickly to get it under control.
The cause and damage bills of both fires are yet to be determined.
