Fire has ripped through the kitchen of a roadhouse in Myalup leaving a damage bill of $200,000.
The kitchen of the roadhouse on Forrest Highway has been completely destroyed.
Firefighters from Australind, Myalup and Bunbury were called to the blaze with initial concerns the flames could spread to fuel pumps at the roadhouse.
Staff at the scene quickly shut off the petrol pumps before calling emergency services.
Puma Energy told GWN7 News one worker was taken to hospital for heat exposure but was released on Wednesday night.
The fire is believed to be accidental and most likely started from unattended cooking in a fryer.
The popular Myalup rest stop on Forrest Highway remains closed.
