Firefighters have worked tirelessly to contain and control a bushfire that forced residents to evacuate in Furnissdale and Barragup.
The fire started just after 12.30pm on Thursday in bushland near Pinjarra Road.
Several people living on nearby properties evacuated as a precaution.
Crews worked for hours to battle the blaze from the ground and the air, eventually gaining the upper-hand.
A bushfire advice remains for people in an area bounded by Riverside Drive, Matthie Road, Davis Road and Goodooga Road.
The cause is unknown.
All roads have since reopened.
