Free public transport on Sundays and for students travelling to and from school will be made permanent.
The State Government will invest $70.1 million in the State Budget to continue the initiative in a bid to deliver cost-of-living relief.
The Ride to School Free Program began in 2024 and provides students with free transport to and from school when they use a valid SmartRider.
For families with two children the initiative could save them up to $560 each year.
Free travel on Sunday's was also established in 2024 and will continue indefinitely.
Travel is also free for WA Seniors Card holders during off-peak times Monday to Friday and across the entire weekend.
"Accessible and affordable public transport is an important way the Cook Labor Government is keeping costs down for Western Australian families during these globally uncertain times, Treasurer and Transport Minister Rita Saffioti said.
"That's why we're locking in these successful free public transport initiatives for the long-term so thousands more Western Australians can travel across the network for free every week."
Western Australian's using public transport has reached an all-time high with nearly 15.7 million boardings across train, bus or ferry services in March.
