Police are at the scene of a possible hit-and-run near the Kwinana Freeway where a man's body was found in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Major Crash Officers are seeking information about a fatal crash which occurred in Bateman at approximately 12:20am.
Police responded to reports of a man’s body on Leach Highway near the Kwinana Freeway off-ramp and when they arrived they found a deceased man believed to be in his 40s.
It is believed the man may have been struck by a semi-trailer truck and received fatal injuries.
Investigating officers are asking anyone who saw the crash or anyone with dashcam footage of the incident to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or make a report online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au
