Bali's international airport has been closed with flights delayed and cancelled as Mount Agung erupts.
The holiday island's main airport in Denpasar was closed around four hours ago with volcanic ash recorded erupting from Mount Agung volcano.

Aussie holidaymakers are being urged to check airline websites this morning for updates on scheduled flights.
Airlines are waiting for an update from the Volcanic Ash Advisory Centre, which is due at 9am today, with most airlines expected to update flight schedules following the announcement.

7.25am: Air Asia QZ545P cancelled 
7.25am: Jetstar JQ110 and QF295 cancelled
7.45am: Garuda GA727 CI9792 and KL4030 delayed to 4.30pm
8.30am: Batik Air ID6008 delayed to 3.20pm
11.30am: Air Asia QZ535 cancelled 
6.30pm: Air Asia QZ545 cancelled
8pm: Air Asia QZ537 cancelled
FLIGHTS FROM DENPASAR TO PERTH:
7.10am: Air Asia QZ534 cancelled 
8.30am: Jetstar JQ117 cancelled
8.30am: Qantas QF276 cancelled
11:50am: Qantas QF296 cancelled
11:50am: Jetstar JQ109 cancelled 
 
More than 20 flights across Jetstar, Qantas, Virgin and Air Asia were disrupted between Thursday night and Friday morning.
Overnight flights that had already taken off for Melbourne and Sydney were forced to turn back to Bali.
The cancellations were a result of a fresh ash cloud from Mt Agung, which reached 2000 metres in the air.
Travellers are advised to check with airlines and the Perth and Denpasar airport websites for updates.
