Save time driving around the suburbs and go straight online.
A new website has been set up for Christmas light enthusiasts to locate the biggest and brightest displays this holiday season.
In partnership with Origin Energy, the Make-A-Wish Australia foundation have launched the Origin Xmas Lights site, where people can register their homes and others can see exactly where to find the best lights in town.
Make-A-Wish are a non-for-profit granting the wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses.
Using an interactive map folks can plan out exactly what suburbs they're going to peruse during the December nights.
Each house registered will go into the running to win a $1,500 credit to their energy bill.
People can drop donations for Make-A-Wish at participating homes, or online, and Origin Energy will match dollar for dollar the money raised.
Make-A-Wish receives no government funding – all wishes are funded by the generosity of the organisation’s supporters.
