Investigations are continuing into a horror motorcycle crash in East Rockingham that claimed the lives of two young men.
The men, aged 17 and 22, were riding along Ennis Avenue just before 2.30am on Thursday when they smashed into a tree at the intersection of Patterson Road.
Despite the desperate attempts of members of the public, both men could not be saved and died at the scene.
Prior to the crash, a police car spotted the pair riding along Ennis Avenue in an "unsafe manner" but they have confirmed they made no attempt to stop or chase the motorbike.
Major Crash Investigators are conducting an examination of the scene and urge anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online at crimestopperswa.com.au.
