Unsolved Serious Crime Squad detectives have charged a 37-year-old man as a result of their extensive investigation into an alleged sexual assault that occurred in January 2012.
It is alleged the man sexually assaulted a woman who was in her 20s at the time of the offence at a residence in Waikiki.
The man from Camillo has been charged with:
• Sexual Penetration without Consent; and
• Unlawful and Indecent Assault.
The man is due to appear before the Rockingham Magistrates Court on Friday, 17 April 2020.
