A 71-year-old Wheatbelt man has been charged after extensive investigations into historical child sexual abuse allegations.
Both of the allegations stem from the Royal Commission into institutional responses to child sexual offences.
It's alleged in 1979 the man indecently assaulted a boy who was 13-years-old at the time of the first two offences.
Police further allege the man assaulted the boy again when he was 14-years-old.
Police say the incidents would have occurred whilst the man was a teacher at a Catholic School in Bedford, in Perth's north east.
A second incident allegedly took place between 1986 and 1987 when the man sexually assaulted a 13-year-old boy.
The second incidents occurred while the man was a teacher at a Catholic college in Tuart Hill, in Perth's north.
Both of the incidents occurred at each school and during a school camp.
The man also acted as the school nurse and student counsellor at both schools.
He's been charged with the following offences:
· Four counts of Aggravated Indecent Assault.
· Three counts of Indecent Dealing of a Child under 14 years.
· One count of Unlawfully and Indecently Assaulted a Male.
He is due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court today.
