A manhunt is underway for a man who broke into a Warnbro home and threatened a woman with a knife.
The 25-year-old victim was asleep when the man forced entry into her Palmer Street home through the back door about 6am on Sunday.
He then held a large knife to the woman's throat, forcing her to hand over her mobile phone.
Police say the victim knew her attacker.
He is described as in his 30s with olive skin, a slim build and was wearing jeans and had a baseball cap on backwards.
Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
