Police have arrested two men following a carjacking in Mandurah on Monday night when a woman was allegedly forced to drive them around while they stole from her.
A 51-year-old woman got into her vehicle on Mandurah Terrace at about 6:30pm when she was approached by two men who allegedly threatened to injure her if she didn’t drive them.
Police said whilst being driven, the men rummaged through the victims belongings and made her stop at an address on Ormsby Terrace, forcing her out of the car and taking off with her vehicle.
The vehicle was located the next day.
Investigations led to identifying the two men involved, both men were located and arrested.
A 38 year old man with no address has been charged with deprivation of liberty, aggravated robbery, steal motor vehicle and possess prohibited weapon.
He will appear in the Perth Magistrates Court today.
A 39 year old man from Mandurah is assisting police in the investigation.
