A severe weather warning remains in place with Mandurah already receiving 15 millimetres of rain while winds have reached 74km/h.
A cold front is expected to cross the coast on Friday bringing more strong wind gusts and rain.
The Weather Bureau said it will dump more rain in the gauge with between 8 and 10mm expected while wind gusts could reach 100km/h.
The main part of the cold front is expected to hit this morning and should ease off by late this afternoon.
In the 24 hours to 9am, Mandurah recorded 15.4 millimetres of rain.
The highest wind gust of 74km/h was recorded at 2:32am.
The Department of Fire and Emergency Services issued another severe weather warning at 9:29am.
