Mandurah has shivered through its coldest morning of the year with temperatures getting down to five degrees.
Bureau of Meteorology data shows that Mandurah's official minimum fell to 5.7C on Wednesday morning, making it the chilliest start in almost a year.
Duty forecaster Jessica Wilks said 5.3 degrees was recorded on August 24, in 2016.
Dwellingup also recorded its coldest day in almost a year with temperatures plummeting to -0.5C.
"Again that is their coldest day since the 24th of August last year when Dwellingup recorded -1.2 degrees.
"The cold front that's been moving through coupled with no cloud cover overnight allows us to drop to those nippy temperatures."
