Police are urgently seeking assistance from the public to locate a man who was last seen driving a white Ute in Rockingham, which has been involved in a number of incidents in the Rockingham area this morning.
Police said the 2009 white Nissan Navara Ute, registration 1ECH672, has been involved in a number of incidents around the city this morning.
It's alleged the vehicle was involved in erratic driving near the intersection of Dixon Road and Mandurah Road East Rockingham around 7.10am this morning.
A short time later the vehicle collided with a house on Barnes Street Rockingham.
Police said the driver then got out of the vehicle and assaulted an occupant of the house, a man in his 60s.
The victim received serious injuries and has been taken to Royal Perth Hospital.
The vehicle is believed to have substantial front end damage.
The driver of the vehicle is a man, described as dark skinned, around 40-years-old with a thin build, around 165cm tall and with short dark hair (balding).
He is wearing an Aqua jumper and blue long pants.
He was last seen driving back towards Rockingham from a petrol station on Beach Street, Kwinana Beach around 8.20am this morning.
Anyone that sees this man or the vehicle is asked not to approach, but call Police immediately on 131 444.
