A woman has allegedly been assaulted while walking her dog through Jester Park in Meadow Springs.
Mandurah Detectives are investigating an assault on a 24 year old woman that occurred in Meadow Springs on Saturday, June 17.
The incident occurred between 6:30pm and 6:50pm when the woman was approached by a man while walking through Jester Park (adjacent to Jester Parkway) with her small dog.
The man pushed the woman to the ground and struck the victim on the right side of her neck and right shoulder.
The victim shouted for help and managed to run away to seek help.
The woman heard voices nearby at the time and believes there may have been another two people in the park
The victim attended Peel Health Campus where she was assessed over extensive red marks and bruising.
The man is described as dark skinned, 20-25 years of age, approximately 180cm tall, medium build and dark wavy hair.
He was wearing a dark jacket over a light coloured top and dark long pants.
