The City of Rockingham says they have been left with no other choice but to permanently close a public toilet at a Port Kennedy park.
"For many months we have pursued a range of options to address ongoing vandalism, and anti-social and threatening behaviour towards the City’s security contractors at the public toilet," a City of Rockingham spokesperson said.
"Unfortunately the issues have escalated and now, after yet another spate of senseless vandalism that has left the toilet unusable, regrettably our only option is to close the facility until further notice."
The City says it will continue to look at how to manage the site and reduce the impact of anti-social behaviour.
