Their storage unit was broken into last week.
The Peel District Little Athletics Club has been robbed of vital equipment necessary to host home ground events.
Sometime between Tuesday evening and Thursday morning the PDLA equipment shed at Bortolo Park in Greenfields was broken into.
Club publicity officer Beki Hawkins said various items were stolen, making it difficult to run competitions for the 126 registered little athletes.
Ms Hawkins said up to $4,000 worth of equipment has been taken.
She said she arrived to the storage shed on Thursday morning to find the clubs furniture trolley outside covered by the top of a tent, which lead her to find four starter pistols, one being vintage, gone.
The club's P.A system, walkie talkies and microphone were all also taken by the thieves.
Luckily the club travelled to Kwinana last weekend to compete, but have a home competition planned for this Saturday.
The club are waiting to be paid out by their insurance otherwise they'll need to source the necessary equipment elsewhere.
"The kids are doing the best they can trying at their athletes and to enjoy it, but to find out that heartless people have come in and just stolen things is just really dissappointing," Ms Hawkins said.
The break in has been reported to Police, the clubs biggest worry is that the starters pistols might be used inappropriately or sold.
Peel District Athletics Club are asking for anyone in the area around Bortolo Park with security cameras to look through their footage from Tuesday to Thursday last week and hand anything suspicious over to the authorities.
Police are investigating.
