Perth's own singer turned 'Home and Away' star, Johnny Ruffo, has undergone emergency brain surgery to remove a tumour.
The 29 year-old Balcatta-born X-Factor star turned actor went to the hospital earlier this week with a severe headache.
"On Sunday I went into hospital with a migraine," said Ruffo.
"I had to have a brain tumour removed. I am on the mend and feeling positive. Keep me in your thoughts."
