A man has been arrested after a standoff with police in Port Kennedy.
Officers were called to a home on Madras Crescent around 1.15pm on Tuesday after the man in his 50s started making threats.
The TRG also attended along with police negotiators.
Surrounding streets were cordoned off while police dealt with the man.
He was eventually taken into custody and conveyed to hospital for an assessment.
Inquiries are ongoing in relation to possible charges.
