Arson and Gang Crime Squads are investigating after petrol bombs reportedly hurled at a home in Golden Bay started a fire.
Authorities were called to the suspicious house fire on Tangadee Road in Golden Bay around 12.20am.
The home was vacant at the time and minor damaged was caused. Neighbours have told Channel Seven they woke to the sound of screeching tyres and discovered the blaze.
The fire is being treated as suspicious and police would like to speak to anyone who was in area around the time of the fire, or earlier in the evening who saw any suspicious activity, persons or vehicles.
