Police seek identity of man and woman over local fraud incidents

Police are looking to identify two people believed to be involved in separate fraud incidents in Rockingham and Warnbro.

At around 6.15pm on August 1, a woman entered a liquor store on Railway Terrace in Rockingham and used a stolen bank card to purchase alcohol.

The bank card was inside a handbag stolen a couple of hours earlier from a chair outside a restaurant in Rockingham.

The woman is described as light skinned, with a slim build, long black wavy hair and between 20 to 30 years-of-age.

She was wearing a grey zip up long sleeved jacket.

The second incident happened on August 17.

Between 9pm and 11pm an unknown number of offenders broke into a home on Bayonne Gardens in Port Kennedy.

Once inside they rummaged through the home and stole handbags, mobile phones and wallets.

A card from one of the wallets was then used on three occasions at service stations in Warnbro.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as medium build with short brown hair, was wearing a red and black top, dark pants and pink shoes.

He was carrying a black backpack and wearing a black mask.
