A 42-year-old Rockingham man has been extradited from Victoria after allegedly removing his electronic monitoring device and fleeing the state.
An arrest warrant was issued for the accused on January 26 after he allegedly breached his bail conditions.
It was then revealed the man had caught a flight to Melbourne.
WA Police quickly notified Victoria Police who arrested the man at 11.50pm on January 27 in the suburb of Wyndham Vale.
He was then extradited back to Western Australia on Tuesday, January 30.
The Rockingham man has been charged with wilfully and unlawfully destroys or damages monitoring equipment, obtaining an air ticket using false information and breach of bail.
He will appear before the Perth Magistrates Court today.
