Up to 100 sharks were reportedly sighted around Warnbro Sound with a public drone filming the frenzy about 80 meters offshore.
Surf Life Saving WA tweeted there was a public report of a school of unknown shark species sighted at Warnbro Sound on Monday morning while drone photographer Aaron Groom sent the footage to Seven News.
The feeding frenzy turned out to be a school of pink snapper with Surf Life Saving still advising swimmers to take extra care in the area.
