A man has been flown to Royal Perth Hospital with serious injuries after a car collided with a truck in Byford.
UPDATE: the crash has now been cleared.
It happened just after 6am this morning on Thomas road near Kardan Boulevard.
According to Macquarie Media it is not clear at this stage if the 67-year-old was driving the truck or car.
Thomas Road is closed in both directions between Tonkin Highway and Kardan Boulevard.
Main Roads is urging drivers to avoid the area.
