A man who suffered a shark bite to the leg is being airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital for emergency treatment.
The RAC helicopter is currently en route to Royal Perth Hospital with a man in his 30s who was bitten by a shark.
Police and surf life saving WA reported a shark sighting at Cobblestones surfing spot earlier this morning.
It's now been confirmed the man suffered a bite to the leg, but it is not yet known the extent of his injuries.
The Margaret River Pro has also been suspended due to the incident.
The surfing competition will resume around 10.30 this morning.
