A number of sharks have been spotted off Falcon Bay after a whale carcass washed ashore.
The decomposed whale was first sighted floating about 1.82km off the beach on Tuesday morning before it made landfall later in the afternoon.

A shark advice was issued shortly after, while locals captured photos and video of a number of sharks circling close to shore.
The City of Mandurah has closed the beach until further notice.
Officers from Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) and the City are monitoring the situation.
If you see a shark, report it to Water Police on 9442 8600.
