Major Crash officers have charged a 36 year old man from Singleton over a fatal crash in Yalyalup on Sunday 23 September 2018.
A 20 year old man was driving a black Toyota Hilux south on the Bussell Highway in Yalyalup around 8.25pm on Sunday 23 September 2018 when a Nissan Navara travelling north crossed onto the wrong side of the road and collided head-on with the Toyota.
The 20-year-old driver of the Toyota died at the scene, while his 22-year-old female passenger received minor injuries.
The driver of the Nissan, a 36-year-old man from Singleton, suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital.
The 36 year old has been charged with;
• One count of dangerous driving occasioning death - under the influence of drugs.
• One count of dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm - under the influence of drugs.
The man is due to appear in Busselton Magistrates Court on Tuesday 30 October 2018.
