The family of a two-year-old boy who was injured after a fall on a moving walkway at Mandurah Forum is calling for travelators at the shopping centre to be made safer.
The little boy was a few steps ahead of his grandmother when he fell right before getting off a travelator.
The 2-year-old suffered cuts to his hands and knees and is taking antibiotics.
His family said he is one of many people that have been injured on the new moving walkways.
A spokesperson for Mandurah Forum told Seven News all their travelators come with emergency stop buttons and recommend children always hold an adults hand.
