Does the Transperth Bus service affect your travel journey to school or work?
Transperth Bus Network, including School Specials - Service Disruptions due to Industrial Action
On Thursday 11 October 2018, there will be a significant disruption to bus services in the northern and southern suburbs. These disruptions include a number of routes that travel to Perth CBD and high frequency routes 910 and 970. A full list of disrupted services is available below.
These services will be disrupted as a result of industrial action being undertaken by a number of bus drivers who work for our contractor Transdev. The official protected action is from 6.00am to 10.00am, however, Transperth wishes to advise patrons that the work stoppage may affect services before 6.00am until approximately 12.00 noon as buses return to normal service.
UPDATE: After 12.00 noon on Thursday there may be continued disruption to the services outlined below until midnight Friday 12 October due to drivers not using the electronic ticketing system, resulting in some bus trips not operating.
Due to the nature of the action being undertaken we cannot confirm which trips will run and which will be cancelled.
If you would normally catch one of these routes we recommend seeking alternative arrangements if possible.
Parents of children attending one of the schools below: While every effort is being made to prioritise school services, Transperth cannot guarantee school services will operate and ask parents to seek an alternative to using the Transperth buses outlined below.
Services operated by Path Transit and Swan Transit remain unaffected.
Patrons are asked to check Transperth before travel as this advice may change.
