Tributes are flowing for an 11-year-old boy who died after being hit by a car while riding his scooter in Mandurah.
It's understood the boy had been visiting friends at the Lakeside Villas around 5.10pm on Monday, April 6 when he rode his scooter down a steep driveway into the path of an oncoming Mazda on Mandurah Terrace.
The boy suffered critical injuries and was rushed to Peel Health Campus where he tragically died.

Speaking on 7News, Nicole Jones, an off-duty nurse, was driving past seconds after the boy was struck.
“There was a lot of blood, a lot of people around kind of not sure what to do,” she told 7News.
“So I just stopped, got out of the car, directed everyone ‘get him off the road, let’s get him on his back’.
“He obviously wasn’t breathing, didn’t have a pulse, so we started CPR.”
Ms Jones said his parents were distraught.
“My thoughts go out to his mum and his dad mostly...I don’t think I’ll forget their cries for a good while now," she said.
