A 24-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman have tragically died in a horror crash along the Forrest Highway in South Yunderup.
Police say the pair were in a white MG sedan that was parked in the southbound emergency lane just south of Pinjarra Road around 6.20pm on Sunday, May 11 when they both got out of the vehicle.
"A short time later, a dark blue Volvo station wagon travelling south on Forrest Highway collided with the pedestrians on the highway," a WA Police spokesperson said.
The driver of the Volvo stopped at the scene, called emergency services and rendered assistance.
Tragically, the man and woman died from their injuries at the scene.
