Two people have been taken to hospital with critical injuries following a two car crash in Baldivis that brought down a power pole and sparked a small bush fire.
The crash happened at the intersection of Mundijong Road and Saint Albans Road just after 4pm on Monday.
The impact of the crash pushed one of the cars into a power pole, bringing down power lines and sparking a small fire which firefighters quickly put out.
Three people, including two with critical injuries, were rescued from the crash scene.
The West reports a woman suffered critical head and leg injuries and was rushed to Royal Perth Hospital.
A second person also went to RPH with critical injuries.
Mundijong Road is closed in both directions with detours in place.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area if possible as emergency crews and Western Power remain at the scene.
