A Warnbro couple woke up on Sunday morning and before they even stepped out of bed, discovered they were more than half a million dollars better-off.
The couple in their 50s discovered their regular Saturday Lotto ticket had turned into almost $578,000
“We checked the numbers in bed and discovered we had won, it was certainly a good wake up call,” the winner said.
The man said they decided to divert from routine and buy an extra ticket “for no particular reason”, and their choice paid off with one of the tickets delivering the life-changing Division One prize.
“We have come close before, but nothing like this!” he said.
The Lucky Charm in Baldivis sold the winning ticket.
