Mundijong Police have rescued an 80-ear-old woman, who's living with Alzheimer's, after she got lost while bush walking.
Around 1:30pm yesterday the woman's husband raised the alarm when she failed to return from a walk.
Mundijong Police coordinated a land search and was assisted by South East Metro Response, Mounted Section, Regional Operations Group and Police Air Wing.

Just before 4pm the Police Air Wing spotted the woman walking in bushland the Karrakup area.
Air Wing officers were able to direct ground resources to locate the woman.
Police Air Wing landed nearby to airlift the 80-year-old to the air wing base. From here she was taken by ambulance to Fiona Stanley Hospital for treatment.
WA Police are hailing the rescue operation a success.
