A 24-year-old man has been charged after allegedly stabbing a woman in Port Kennedy.
Police were called to a home on Reims Lane around 9am on Sunday with reports a woman had been injured.
She received serious injuries to her upper body area, including her head and was driven to Rockingham Hospital by people who were at the scene.
A short time later police arrested a 24-year-old man at another house in Port Kennedy.
The man, who is known to the victim, has been charged with aggravated unlawful wounding and will appear in the Rockingham Magistrates Court today.
