Regional Investigation Unit have charged a man after an incident in Cooloongup on Thursday, 23 May 2019.
It will be alleged around 7.40pm the man entered a fast food store on the corner of Ennis Avenue and Elanora Drive, and demanded cash. He indicated he was armed and staff handed him a small amount of cash.
Local police recognised his description and he was arrested a short time later.
An 18-year-old man was charged with armed robbery and he will appear in the Rockingham Magistrates Court today, Friday 24 May 2019.
