A driver has allegedly crashed his car and fled the scene, leaving the passenger behind.
The man was driving a Holden Colorado along Roe Highway in Canning Vale around 8.30pm on Sunday when he drifted into the gravel shoulder and hit a light pole.
The driver allegedly fled the scene, leaving his female passenger inside the vehicle.
She was taken to Royal Perth Hospital.
The man, aged in his 20s, was found by police at a house in Hammond Park and is assisting with inquiries.
Officers would like to speak to anyone that witnessed the crash, or saw the Colorado prior to the crash.
