Locals unable to attend a polling place on Election Day (May 18) can cast their vote at an early voting centre from today.
Early voting provides an option to locals who are working, travelling or out of town on Election Day.
“We have the most complete electoral roll since federation and we’re providing a broad range of voting services but it is up to enrolled Australians to turnout to make sure they have their say,” Electoral Commissioner Tom Rogers said.
More than 500 early voting centres will be available throughout the early voting period.
Mandurah residents can go to Eastlake Church in Greenfields or Miami Village Shopping Centre in Falcon.
Those living in the Rockingham area can visit 3/2 Beardsley St in Port Kennedy or Shop 2/39 Dixon Road in Rockingham.
Go to www.aec.gov.au to find the location and opening times for early voting centres or call 13 23 26
