A member of the public called triple zero around 10.45am on Thursday, reporting a large amount of black smoke coming from the Smirk Road home.
Fire crews managed to contain the blaze to the roof space.
It was extinguished within an hour.
No one was believed to be injured.
A cause is yet to be determined.
