The 83-year-old man will front court today charged with historical child sex abuse charges.
Police will allege between 1979 and 1992 the man physically and sexually assaulted seven children, both boys and girls, between the ages of six and 12 at the time of the first offence.
Police said the man was a Priest at a Shenton Park Catholic Church during the time of the offences.
He's been charged six counts of Indecent Dealing of a Child under 14 years, one count of Unlawfully and Indecently Assaulted a male and two counts of Unlawful Assault.
He is due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court today, 16 April 2018.
