A 30-year-old man has been charged after he allegedly fired a shotgun at a car in Warnbro.
Around 1.55pm on Saturday, police received several triple zero calls about a man armed with a gun on Okehampton Road.
Rockingham Police along with the Regional Operations Group and officers from the Gang Crime Squad attended the scene.
It's alleged the man had fired a shotgun at a car parked on the verge of a property, damaging one tyre and the rear of the vehicle.
A search of the area was conducted, including neighbouring properties, and a 30-year-old man was found hiding behind a shed at the back of a property on Bampton Way.
He was taken into custody without incident.
The 30-year-old man has been charged with being armed in a way that may cause fear, discharging a firearm to the danger of, or in a manner to cause fear to, the public or any person and criminal damage.
He was refused bail and is due to appear in Perth Magistrates Court today.
